Poor sealing of muffle furnace can have various impacts, mainly including the following:

1. Unstable temperature control
Impact: Poor sealing of the muffle furnace can cause heat loss inside the furnace, making it difficult to maintain a stable temperature control at the set value. Temperature fluctuations can affect the accuracy and reproducibility of experiments or production.
Example: In material sintering experiments that require precise temperature control, poor sealing may result in uneven sintering of the material, affecting its properties.

2. Atmosphere control failure
Impact: For muffle furnaces that require control of the furnace atmosphere (such as atmosphere muffle furnaces), poor sealing can lead to external air entering the furnace, damaging the purity and stability of the furnace atmosphere.
Example: During metal heat treatment, if the atmosphere inside the furnace is contaminated, it may cause defects such as oxidation and decarburization on the metal surface, affecting the performance of the metal material.

3. Increased energy consumption
Impact: A muffle furnace with poor sealing requires more energy to maintain the temperature inside the furnace, resulting in increased energy consumption.
