The multi gradient experimental tube furnace may encounter some common faults during operation, and the following are these faults and their solutions:
1. Power on and power supply issues
Instrument without power display
Possible reasons: improper plug insertion, blown fuse, blown control circuit fuse.
Solution: Check if the plug is plugged in or connected properly, replace the fuse, check for short circuits and eliminate them before replacing the fuse.
The power supply and heating elements are normal, but the temperature inside the furnace does not rise
Possible reasons: Low set temperature, damaged control circuit.
Solution: Adjust the set temperature. If the control circuit is damaged, notify professional maintenance personnel for inspection.
2. Temperature control issues
The set temperature does not match the temperature inside the furnace
Possible reasons: Damage to temperature sensors or temperature controllers, deviation between temperature measurement points and layout points.
Solution: Replace the temperature sensor or thermostat and position it correctly.
The instrument is outputting normally, but the OUT indicator light is not flashing
Possible cause: The main circuit has malfunctioned.
Solution: Check if the resistance wire is short circuited and if the heating element is controllable. If it is not controllable, it is recommended to replace the temperature controller or resistance wire.
During the heating process, the temperature does not rise but instead decreases
Possible reason: The positive and negative poles of the thermocouple are reversed.
Solution: Replace the thermocouple connector.
Over temperature alarm
Possible reason: The temperature inside the furnace exceeded the limit, and the instrument acted as a protective measure.
Solution: Wait until the temperature drops to a safe level before the instrument returns to normal.
3. Vacuum degree issue
The vacuum degree decreases when using vacuum pumping
Possible reasons: aging or damage of the heat-resistant silicone ring between the stainless steel flanges, and leakage of the vacuum system.
Solution: Replace the heat-resistant silicone ring, reinstall the stainless steel flange, or replace and repair the vacuum system.
4. Other common questions
The ammeter has no current, but the voltmeter has voltage
Possible cause: Heating element breakage.
Solution: Replace the broken heating element according to the instructions.
The voltage and power supply are normal, but the equipment is not working
Possible cause: Incorrect parameter settings for the rotary furnace.
Solution: Notify the manufacturer to set the correct parameters.
