The daily maintenance and upkeep of the heat treatment muffle furnace are key to ensuring its stable operation and extending its service life. Here are some specific maintenance and upkeep suggestions:

1. Oven treatment
Newly activated muffle furnaces or muffle furnaces that have been out of service for a long time and are reused must undergo baking treatment. The baking time should be between 200 ℃ and 600 ℃ for four hours.
The purpose of an oven is to remove moisture and dampness from the furnace and prevent damage to the electric heating elements due to moisture.

2. Temperature control
When in use, the maximum furnace temperature should not exceed the rated temperature to avoid burning out the electric heating elements.
It is prohibited to pour various liquids and easily soluble metals into the furnace.
To extend the lifespan of the furnace wire, it is recommended to operate the muffle furnace in an environment below the maximum temperature of 50 ℃.

3. Environmental requirements
The muffle furnace and its controller must operate in a location with a relative humidity not exceeding 85%, free from conductive dust, explosive gases, or corrosive gases.
The working environment temperature of the controller should be controlled within the range of 0-40 ℃.

4. Wiring inspection
According to technical requirements, regularly check whether the wiring of the electric furnace and controller is good.
The temperature measuring thermocouples connected to the controller may cause interference to the controller. It is necessary to ground the metal protective tube (housing) of the thermocouple well and use a three wire output thermocouple if necessary to reduce interference.

5. Thermocouple protection
In high temperature conditions, avoid pulling out the thermocouple suddenly to prevent the outer jacket from exploding.

6. Furnace cleaning
Regularly keep the furnace clean and promptly remove oxides and other impurities from the furnace to ensure efficient operation.

7. Operating condition control
When using alkaline substances for melting or burning in the furnace, the operating conditions should be strictly controlled, and it is best to lay a layer of refractory plate at the bottom of the furnace in advance to prevent corrosion of the furnace.

8. Precautions for sample loading and unloading
Before installing the sample, be sure to cut off the power supply to ensure safety.
When collecting samples, the opening time of the furnace door should be shortened as much as possible to maintain the service life of the electric furnace.
It is strictly prohibited to inject any liquid into the furnace.
Avoid placing samples contaminated with water or oil into the furnace, and do not use clamps contaminated with water or oil to collect samples.
When collecting samples, it is recommended to wear gloves to prevent burns.
The sample should be neatly placed in the center of the furnace and should not be placed randomly.

9. After use processing
After use, be sure to cut off the power and water sources to ensure safety.
After burning, the crucible should be cooled to below 200 ℃ before being transferred to a dryer.

10. Operating procedures
Without the permission of management personnel, it is not allowed to operate the resistance furnace without authorization, and the operating procedures of the equipment must be strictly followed.
