The daily maintenance and upkeep of the atmosphere muffle furnace are crucial for ensuring its stable operation and extending its service life. Here are some key maintenance and upkeep measures:

1. Daily maintenance
Clean the furnace
After each use, the residue and dust in the furnace should be cleaned in a timely manner. For stubborn stains, a mild cleaning agent can be used to wipe them off, but it is important to ensure that the cleaning agent does not corrode the furnace.
When cleaning, avoid using sharp tools to scratch the inner wall of the furnace to avoid affecting the heating effect and sealing performance.
Check the sealing of the furnace door
Regularly check the sealing between the furnace door and the furnace body to ensure good sealing. If the sealing gasket ages or is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
When the furnace door is closed, it should be ensured to be tightly closed to prevent heat loss and external air from entering.
Check the heating element
Regularly inspect heating elements (such as furnace wires, resistance wires, etc.) for any abnormal conditions such as breakage, deformation, or discoloration. If damage is found, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
The heating element is the core component of the atmosphere muffle furnace, and its working state directly affects the heating effect of the furnace.
Check the thermocouple
Thermocouples are used to measure furnace temperature and should be regularly checked for secure connections and accurate measurements.
If the thermocouple is found to be damaged or has significant measurement errors, it should be replaced or calibrated in a timely manner.
Check electrical connections
Regularly check whether the electrical connections such as power lines and control lines are secure, whether they are loose, damaged, or aging.
Ensure good grounding to prevent the risk of electrical leakage.

2. Regular maintenance
Oven treatment
When the atmosphere muffle furnace is first used or used again after a long period of disuse, it should be subjected to baking treatment. The oven temperature is controlled between 200 ℃ and 600 ℃ for four hours to remove moisture and impurities from the furnace.
During the baking process, close attention should be paid to changes in furnace temperature to ensure the baking effect.
Calibrate the temperature control system
Regularly calibrate the accuracy and stability of the temperature control system to ensure that the temperature display matches the actual temperature.
If any abnormality is found in the temperature control system, the manufacturer or professional maintenance personnel should be contacted in a timely manner for maintenance.
Check the transmission components
For atmosphere muffle furnaces with transmission components (such as furnace door switches, fans, etc.), regular inspections should be conducted to ensure smooth operation and to check for any abnormal sounds or lagging.
If any faults are found in the transmission components, they should be replaced or repaired in a timely manner.
Replace vulnerable parts
Regularly replace vulnerable parts (such as sealing gaskets, thermocouples, etc.) based on usage frequency and working environment.
When replacing vulnerable parts, choose accessories that match the original equipment to ensure stable equipment performance.

3. Precautions
Avoid frequent switching of power supply
Frequent switching of power supply can cause damage to the heating elements and control system of the atmosphere muffle furnace, and should be avoided as much as possible.
Pay attention to the heating rate
During the heating process, the temperature should be slowly increased to avoid damage to the equipment and samples caused by sudden temperature changes.
Follow the operating procedures
Strictly follow the operating procedures and safety standards of the atmosphere muffle furnace to ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipment.
Record maintenance logs
After each maintenance and upkeep, a maintenance log should be recorded, including maintenance time, maintenance content, replaced parts, and other information.
Maintaining logs helps track the usage status and maintenance history of equipment, providing reference for future repairs and maintenance.

By implementing the above daily maintenance and upkeep measures, the normal operation and extended service life of the atmosphere muffle furnace can be ensured. At the same time, it also helps to improve the accuracy and stability of experiments or production.
