As an important heat treatment equipment, vertical tube furnaces may encounter various common faults during use. Here are some common faults and their solutions:
1. Instrument without power display
Reason for malfunction:
The power supply is not connected or the plug is not properly plugged in.
Power cord malfunction.
The internal fuse is blown.
resolvent:
Check if the power socket, power switch, and power cord are functioning properly, confirm if there is power supply, and ensure that the plug is securely inserted into the socket.
If it is a fuse issue, it needs to be checked and replaced with a suitable fuse after cutting off the power.
2. The temperature inside the furnace does not rise
Reason for malfunction:
The heating element is damaged or disconnected.
Temperature controller malfunction.
Abnormal power supply or reduced power of electric heating elements.
Excessive loading of the furnace affects heat transfer.
The performance of the insulation screen or furnace lining deteriorates, resulting in excessive heat dissipation.
resolvent:
Check if the heating element is intact, and replace it if it is damaged. At the same time, check whether the connection method of the electric heating element is correct and whether there is a short circuit phenomenon.
Check the temperature controller settings and output status, and repair or replace the temperature controller if necessary.
Confirm whether the power supply voltage is stable and meets the equipment requirements.
Reduce the amount of material appropriately to improve heating efficiency.
Check the performance of the insulation screen or lining, and replace the insulation layer or reduce heat dissipation if necessary.
3. The set temperature does not match the temperature inside the furnace
Reason for malfunction:
Thermocouple wiring error or open circuit.
Sensor malfunction.
There is a deviation between the temperature measurement point and the layout point.
resolvent:
Check if the positive and negative connections of the thermocouple are correct. If they are reversed, correct them. If the thermocouple breaks, replace it with a new thermocouple.
If the sensor fails, replace it with a new one.
Arrange the layout position correctly to ensure that the temperature measurement points accurately reflect the temperature inside the furnace.
4. The instrument output is normal, but the OUT indicator light is not flashing
Reason for malfunction:
Main circuit failure, such as damaged thyristor, open circuit of heating resistor wire, or malfunction of indicator light.
resolvent:
Check if the thyristor is working properly, and replace it if it is damaged.
Check if the heating resistor wire is intact, and replace it if there is an open circuit.
Check if the indicator light is damaged and replace it if necessary.
5. The furnace chamber is not tightly sealed
Reason for malfunction:
Wear or aging of sealing components such as furnace doors and sealing rings.
The seal is not installed correctly.
resolvent:
Check whether the sealing components such as the furnace door and sealing ring are intact. If there is wear or aging, replace them in a timely manner.
Check if the sealing components are installed correctly and adjust them to ensure the sealing effect.
6. Pipeline blockage
Reason for malfunction:
Blockage or accumulation of debris inside the pipeline.
resolvent:
Regularly clean the pipeline to prevent the accumulation of debris. If severe blockage occurs, appropriate cleaning tools can be used for cleaning.
7. Control system malfunction
Reason for malfunction:
Control system hardware or software malfunction.
resolvent:
Restart the control system and check if the power supply and connection lines are normal.
If necessary, contact professional technicians for maintenance or replacement of the control system.
8. Furnace body damage
Reason for malfunction:
The interior or exterior of the furnace is subjected to external impact or corrosion.
resolvent:
For minor damages, repair measures such as welding, grinding, etc. can be taken.
For severe damage or deformation, it may be necessary to replace the entire furnace body or rebuild part of the structure.
When solving the faults of vertical tube furnaces, it is necessary to ensure professional knowledge and take appropriate safety measures. At the same time, regular maintenance and inspection of equipment should be carried out to prevent the occurrence of malfunctions.
