1. Usage environment and conditions
Environmental temperature and humidity: Ensure that the box type resistance annealing furnace operates in a location where the relative temperature does not exceed 85%, there is no conductive dust, explosive gas, or corrosive gas. The working environment temperature of the controller should be limited to 0-50 ℃.
Placement: The resistance furnace should be placed on a flat ground or cement platform, with asbestos boards on the bottom cushion to prevent the platform from being heated too high. The controller should avoid vibration and should not be placed too close to the electric furnace to prevent overheating and prevent electronic components from working properly.
2. Power and electrical connections
Electrical configuration: Install plugs, sockets, fuses, etc. with appropriate power according to the rated voltage of the high-temperature box furnace. The furnace shell and controller shell should be properly grounded to ensure safe use.
Connection between thermocouple and controller: The thermocouple should be inserted into the center of the furnace, and the gap between the hole and the thermocouple should be filled with asbestos rope. Connect the thermocouple and controller with compensating wires (or insulated copper core wires), taking care not to connect the positive and negative poles incorrectly.
3. Regular inspection and maintenance
Temperature control system: Regularly check whether the electrical connections, connecting screws, fuses, and other parts are in good contact; Temperature control instruments and thermocouples need to be inspected every six months to ensure temperature accuracy, and to check whether the pointer of the indicator is stuck or stuck during movement.
Furnace cleaning: Clean the furnace after each use, promptly remove impurities such as slag and metal oxides inside the furnace, and keep the box clean. When not in use for a long time, it is necessary to cover it with a plastic dust cover and place it in a dry room.
Electric heating element inspection: Check the working status of the electric heating element to ensure that it is not aging, damaged, or loose in wiring. If the electric heating element is found to be burnt out, it should be replaced with a new one in a timely manner, and attention should be paid to selecting the appropriate model and specifications.
4. Operating standards
Drying treatment: When the box type resistance furnace is first used or restarted after a long period of disuse, drying treatment must be carried out. The baking time should be kept at room temperature to 200 ℃ for four hours, and then heated to 600 ℃ for four hours. When in use, the maximum furnace temperature should not exceed the rated temperature to avoid burning out the electric heating elements.
Avoid liquid injection: It is forbidden to inject various liquids and easily soluble metals into the furnace to avoid shortening the service life of the furnace and heating elements.
Heating and cooling: When using a cold furnace, maintain a low-speed heating to avoid rapid changes in high and low temperatures that may cause cracks in the furnace. Do not open the furnace door for a long time under high temperature conditions.
5. Other precautions
Prohibition of arbitrary operation: It is forbidden to operate the internal parameters of the instrument at will to avoid affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
Workpiece processing: When heating workpieces containing grease or ultra-high moisture, drying treatment should be carried out in advance to prevent the generation of corrosive gases and affect the service life of electric heating elements.
Safe operation: Strictly adhere to operating standards and safety regulations to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
