When using the experimental rotary furnace, it is necessary to pay attention to multiple aspects to ensure the safety of the experiment and the normal operation of the equipment. Here are some key precautions:
1. Equipment inspection and preparation
Pre startup inspection: Before starting the experimental rotary furnace, check whether the gas butterfly valve and air damper are in the closed state, and whether the scale is at the zero position. At the same time, check whether the connecting rod of the gas butterfly valve is worn and whether the screws are loose. If there is any looseness, it should be dealt with in a timely manner and the connecting rod should be lubricated.
Sealing and lubrication: Ensure that the sealing device of the equipment is intact, flexible, and kept clean. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in a timely manner. The lubrication system should be unobstructed, with an appropriate amount of oil and no dripping or leakage.
Transmission mechanism inspection: The rotating parts should be free of looseness or noise, and the fasteners should not be loose.
2. Operating standards
Ignition operation: After starting the machine, set the initial temperature of the temperature controller to 80 degrees Celsius, connect the burner power, and ignite according to the operating procedures. After successful ignition, temperature control and air volume adjustment should be carried out.
Prevent gas accumulation: It is strictly prohibited to close the exhaust valve when ventilating into the furnace tube to prevent safety hazards caused by the increase in pressure inside the furnace tube. At the same time, the exhaust from the furnace top should be connected to the outside by the user to prevent the emitted smoke from spreading indoors and causing poisoning or explosion hazards.
3. Material handling
Prohibited hazardous substances: It is strictly prohibited to put explosive substances, flammable substances, chemical substances that can react violently, and things containing these substances into the high-temperature furnace of the equipment. At the same time, it is prohibited to put substances that will react violently, have expansion properties, or release gas inside the equipment, which will increase the pressure inside the equipment.
Attention to corrosive substances: If materials that can produce corrosive substances (such as chlorine, chlorides, acid-base substances, etc.) and humidified water are used, it should be noted that the service life of various components in the high-temperature furnace may be greatly reduced.
Feeding and drying: Before use, ensure that the waste residue in the silo is cleaned up and evenly spread on the pallet. After starting the feeder, wait for the material to be evenly fed in, then turn on the inlet fan to mix the raw material with air to achieve sufficient drying.
4. Security protection
High temperature protection: When sampling during or after high-temperature operation, please pay special attention to the dangers that may be caused by the high-temperature air blown out of the high-temperature furnace. When placing materials containing moisture in a high-temperature furnace, they should be kept at a low temperature and slowly heated up, and steam should be discharged through the outlet. When opening both sides of the high-temperature furnace tube, pay attention to the issue of condensation, as dew adhering to the inside of the high-temperature tube may drip onto the ground.
Personnel safety: It is prohibited to put hands or other parts of the body into the transmission system to prevent mechanical injury. It is prohibited to stand within the range of motion when the furnace body is tilted to prevent accidents from occurring.
Environmental safety: Smoking and open flames are prohibited in the installation and use site of the equipment to prevent fires.
5. Other precautions
Regular inspection and maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the experimental rotary furnace to ensure the normal operation of all components and extend the service life of the equipment.
Operation training: Operators should receive professional training, familiarize themselves with equipment operation procedures and safety precautions, and ensure the correct and safe use of equipment.
