Common faults and solutions of vacuum sintering furnace

Vacuum sintering furnaces may encounter various faults during use. Here are some common faults and their solutions:
1. Heating issue
①. Heating time too long or insufficient heating
Fault description: The device heats up slowly or cannot reach the set temperature.

Check if the heating element is damaged or aged, and replace it promptly if it is damaged.
Verify the accuracy of the temperature controller and calibrate or replace it if necessary.
Check if there is any air leakage in the system to ensure even air pressure.
②. Uneven heating
Fault description: Uneven temperature distribution inside the sintering furnace leads to inconsistent quality of sintered products.

Ensure even distribution of heating elements and replace inefficient or aging heating elements.
Adjust the placement of items inside the sintering furnace to ensure even heating.
2. Vacuum problem
①. Low vacuum degree
Fault description: The vacuum sintering furnace cannot achieve or maintain the required vacuum degree.

Check if the vacuum pump is working properly, clean or replace the pump oil.
Check whether there is any air leakage in the vacuum pipeline and seals, and repair or replace them.
Clean or replace the exhaust filter to ensure smooth exhaust.
②. The pumping time is too long
Fault description: The time required to reach the desired vacuum level is too long.

Extend the pumping time and observe the change in vacuum degree.
Check the performance of the vacuum pump and repair or replace it if necessary.
3. Cooling problem
①. Abnormal cooling water

In high temperature situations, if the cooling water supply stops, emergency cooling water should be immediately connected to avoid equipment damage.
②. Poor cooling effect

Check whether the cooling system is blocked or leaking, and clean or repair it.
Ensure sufficient cooling water flow, adjust cooling water flow and temperature to achieve optimal cooling effect.
4. Mechanical issues
①. High noise level
Fault description: The device generates abnormal noise during operation.

Check whether the components of the equipment are loose or damaged, and tighten or replace them.
Check whether the transmission components such as the vacuum furnace coupling are worn or broken, and replace them if necessary.
②. Pneumatic valve does not work
Fault description: The pneumatic valve cannot be opened or closed.

Check if the compressed air pressure meets the working requirements and adjust the pressure.
Check if the solenoid valve is working properly and replace it if necessary.
Check if the pneumatic valve itself is damaged, replace or repair it.
5. Other issues
①. Leakage outside the furnace
Fault description: There is water leakage outside the sintering furnace.

Check if there are any leakage points in the cooling water system and repair them.
Ensure that the cooling water pipes are tightly connected and free from looseness or damage.
②. Vacuum discharge
Fault description: The equipment experiences discharge under vacuum conditions.

Check if the connection between the water-cooled electrode joint and the heater is secure, ensuring good insulation.
Adjust the pressure inside the furnace to a safe range and avoid operating under vacuum conditions that are prone to discharge.
