Precautions for using high-temperature sintering furnace

Time:2024-08-07 Click:0

During the use of high-temperature sintering furnaces, attention should be paid to multiple aspects to ensure safe operation, stable equipment operation, and sintering quality. Here are some key precautions:
1. Preparation before operation
security check:
Ensure that the high-temperature sintering furnace and its surrounding areas are free of flammable and explosive materials.
Check whether the electrical circuit is intact, whether the grounding is reliable, and prevent electric shock and fire accidents.
Check if the furnace body, furnace door, furnace bottom, and heating device are functioning properly, and if there are any debris inside the furnace.
Equipment cleaning:
Clean the interior and surroundings of the furnace, remove dust, impurities, etc., to ensure sintering quality.
Clean the observation window glass to ensure clear observation.
System check:
Check whether the vacuum system (such as vacuum pump, vacuum gauge, etc.) is working properly and whether the vacuum pipeline is unobstructed.
Check whether the heating elements (such as electric heating elements, thermocouples, etc.) are intact, without damage or aging.
Check whether the auxiliary systems such as water flow and air pressure meet the requirements.
Personnel training:
Ensure that the operators are familiar with the equipment operating procedures and safety precautions, and have the corresponding operating qualifications.
Provide strict pre use training for beginners to ensure they understand the usage methods and safety regulations of the equipment.
2. Operation process
Startup and setup:
Start the equipment according to the operating procedures to ensure the normal operation of all systems.
Set appropriate sintering temperature and time according to the requirements of sintering materials, and monitor temperature changes during the sintering process.
Feeding and monitoring:
After reaching the predetermined vacuum degree and temperature, add the material to be sintered according to the operating procedures.
Always pay attention to temperature changes, vacuum degree changes, and equipment operation status inside the furnace to ensure safe and stable sintering process.
Prevent accidents:
Avoid heating flammable and explosive materials inside the sintering furnace to prevent explosion accidents.
In case of sudden power outage, water outage or other unexpected situations during operation, emergency measures should be taken immediately to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.
Security protection:
Operators should wear appropriate protective equipment, such as heat-resistant gloves, dust masks, rubber gloves, etc., to prevent risks such as burns and dust inhalation.
Do not touch live parts such as heated copper plates with your hands or other conductive objects to prevent electric shock.
3. Post operation processing
Cooling and cleaning:
After heating is completed, turn off the heating system first and wait for the furnace to cool to a safe temperature before opening the furnace door.
Clean up the residue inside the furnace and keep it clean. After use, the furnace body should be kept in a vacuum state to extend the service life of the insulation layer.
Inspection and maintenance:
Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the equipment to ensure that all components are intact and undamaged, and replace vulnerable parts.
Record the data of this sintering process, such as temperature, time, vacuum degree, etc., for subsequent analysis and summary.
Regularly maintain and upkeep the equipment, such as cleaning the vacuum pump, replacing heating elements, etc., to extend the service life of the equipment.
4. Other precautions
Mold usage:
If using a mold, the area of the upper and lower punch heads of the mold should be calculated and converted into pressure to ensure that it is used within the pressure resistance limit of the mold.
Thermocouple protection:
Thermocouples are fragile parts that may become brittle after use and should not come into contact with hard objects. If damaged, they should be replaced promptly.
Circulating water insulation:
Attention should be paid to keeping the circulating water of high-temperature sintering furnaces warm in winter to prevent water pipes from bursting.
Dedicated personnel use:
Due to the complexity of the equipment, it is recommended to assign a dedicated person to use it. A dedicated person should be responsible for implementing strict equipment usage regulations for beginners, including pre use training, post use inspection, and recording of operation and use.
In summary, the precautions for using high-temperature sintering furnaces involve preparation before operation, operation process, post-treatment after operation, and multiple other aspects. Strictly adhering to these precautions will help improve production efficiency, ensure operational safety, and extend equipment lifespan.
