Precautions for using box type annealing furnace

The precautions for using a box type annealing furnace are very important to ensure the safe operation of the equipment, extend its service life, and ensure the safety of operators. Here are some key precautions:
1. Equipment inspection and preparation
Open box inspection: After opening the packaging box, first check whether the equipment is intact, and verify whether the supporting accessories are complete according to the packing list.
Environmental selection: The equipment should be placed in a place with good air circulation, no vibration, no flammable or explosive gases, or high dust.
Power configuration: Use a power supply voltage that matches the equipment, and install an air switch that matches the working current of the furnace body. Ensure that the power cord, plug, and switch capacity match the device power, and the circuit is grounded to prevent high voltage from entering.
2. Precautions during operation
Thermocouple installation: Install the thermocouple correctly, ensuring that the positive and negative polarities are connected correctly. After inserting the thermocouple into the furnace body, a length of 2-5cm should be exposed inside the furnace.
Temperature control:
After initial use or prolonged disuse, preheating treatment should be carried out, such as baking at around 120 ℃ for 1 hour and baking at around 300 ℃ for 2 hours, to prevent furnace cracking.
The furnace temperature should not exceed the rated temperature to avoid damaging the heating elements and furnace lining.
The heating rate in the low-temperature section should not be too fast, and the difference in heating rate between different temperature sections should not be too large. The physical and chemical properties of the sintered material should be fully considered.
Sample processing: The experimental sample must not come into direct contact with the heating element and must be kept at a safe distance. Flammable and explosive materials should not be placed inside the furnace to prevent explosions.
Furnace door operation: When opening the furnace door due to high temperature, the power supply of the electric furnace must be turned off first. After removing the burnt object, the furnace door should be immediately closed to avoid furnace rupture caused by sudden high temperature cooling.
Regular inspection: Regularly check whether the electrical connection parts of the temperature control system are in good contact, and pay special attention to whether the connection points of the heating elements are tightened.
3. Safety and Maintenance
Safety protection: High temperature insulated gloves should be worn during operation to avoid opening the furnace door under high temperature or machine working conditions, in order to prevent the hot gas inside the furnace from spraying out and causing harm to the operators.
Cleaning and maintenance: Keep the furnace clean, remove debris from the furnace floor, and prevent debris from breaking the resistance wire. It is prohibited to directly pour various liquids and dissolve metals into the furnace.
Professional maintenance: When the equipment malfunctions, the power switch should be immediately turned off and professional personnel should be contacted for handling. Do not disassemble or repair it by yourself.
4. Other precautions
Usage environment: The relative humidity around the furnace should not exceed 85%, and there should be no conductive dust, explosive gases, or corrosive gases that seriously damage metals and insulation materials.
Operating standards: Strictly follow the operating procedures to avoid equipment failure or safety accidents caused by misoperation.
