How to use a muffle furnace?

The use of the muffle furnace can be carried out according to the following steps to ensure safe and effective use of the equipment:

1、 Preparation work
Check the power supply: Ensure that the power connection of the muffle furnace is normal, the power plug is firmly connected, and the power cord is not damaged.
Check equipment: Check the instrument status of the muffle furnace to ensure that the current state is in the off state.
Connect the thermocouple: Insert the thermocouple into the high-temperature furnace, and connect the two connecting wires of the thermocouple to the red and black terminals on the controller.

2、 Power on and Settings
Connect the switch power supply: Before connecting the switch power supply, it is necessary to check whether there is a short circuit or leakage in the circuit to ensure safety before connecting.
Turn on the power switch: Place the “power switch” in the “on” position, and turn on the temperature display adjustment instrument panel.
Set temperature: Set the temperature within a reasonable range based on the items and time to be heated. Use the temperature control key to adjust to the desired temperature, and the device will automatically set the temperature.

3、 Heating and monitoring
Heating operation: Press the heating operation button to start heating and check the temperature rise in the studio.
Check the temperature rise: Observe the temperature rise of the temperature display regulator. When the set limit temperature is reached, stop the display light and stop heating; After reaching the set low temperature limit, the heating display light will light up and gradually heat up.
Check heating items: During the heating process, regularly check whether the heating items are placed stably to ensure they do not fall or be damaged during the heating process.

4、 Cooling and removal
After heating is completed: When the heated item reaches the predetermined temperature, the muffle furnace should be immediately turned off and allowed to cool naturally.
Removing heated items: After the muffle furnace has completely cooled down, the heated items can be safely removed and further processed or used as needed.

5、 Cleaning and maintenance
Regular cleaning: In order to maintain the efficiency and safety performance of the muffle furnace, regular cleaning and maintenance must be carried out. Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the surface and interior of the device to remove dust and debris. Avoid using corrosive cleaning agents or sharp tools for cleaning.
Check for abnormalities: If any abnormalities are found in the equipment during the cleaning process, the cleaning should be stopped immediately and repaired or replaced with components.

6、 Precautions
Temperature regulation: When changing the set temperature during use, if the temperature changes from high to low, the power supply needs to be cut off. When the reading of the pyrometer drops below the newly set reading, the control key can be turned to the newly set temperature; If the temperature changes from low to high, you need to twist the control key to continue increasing the reading of the pyrometer.

Safe operation: During heating and cooling, do not attempt to move or touch heated items to avoid damage or burns.
